Tell the right story... in the most powerful way

Story Coaching: The 3C Method

I teach people to think like journalists so they can ask better questions, find stronger stories and communicate complex realities with clarity, confidence and credibility.

  • Clarity – Structure your ideas so readers instantly understand what’s at stake.

  • Confidence – Learn a repeatable process for interviews, research and drafting so you’re not starting from zero each time.

  • Credibility – Apply journalistic standards of verification and fairness so your audience trusts what you publish.

Available as:

    • 1:1 coaching packages (for journalists, NGO staff, founders and creators)

    • Consulting and/or team workshops (online or in person in Jerusalem)

Newsroom & Media Organization Consulting

If you’re building or strengthening a news operation—or a communications team that needs to think more like a newsroom—I can help.

I bring more than 20 years of experience as a reporter, editor, commentator and news editor for digital start‑ups to help you:

  • Develop story selection and editorial workflows
  • Improve writing and editing standards
  • Train staff in interviewing, verification and ethics
  • Launch or refine a media department with clear structures and accountability

Consulting can be for newsrooms, NGOs, faith‑based organizations and company media departments.

Keynotes, Briefings & Podcasts

Let’s unpack the issues together.

I help audiences make sense of the headlines and understand the people and places behind them. As a speaker, I offer clear, grounded briefings on Jerusalem, the Holy Land and the Middle East—bringing local perspective, historical context and human stories to complex issues.

Signature topics:

  • Challenges facing Christians in the Holy Land
  •  Geopolitics in Israel and the Middle East
  • The unique history of Armenians in the Old City

Jerusalem Old City Experiences

We lead immersive walks through Jerusalem’s Old City for diplomats, organizations, students, pilgrims and visitors who want to move beyond the tourist version and understand the stories behind the stones.

These experiences combine on‑the‑ground reporting, history and everyday encounters to help participants see the city through a journalist’s eyes.

Immerse Yourself,

meet the locals, make connections.

Why Work With Me?

Curiosity may have gotten me into trouble as a kid, but it has served me well as a journalist. I cut my teeth at the New Hampshire daily Foster’s Daily Democrat and honed my writing and editing skills at The Associated Press in Hartford, Connecticut.

After moving from New York to the Holy Land, I’ve spent more than 20 years documenting the region’s tangled web of politics, religion and minority issues.

I report on my own channels and have freelanced for outlets such as The Jerusalem Post, The Medialine and Charisma. I was news editor for two start‑up internet news sites, All Israel News and All Arab News and also I served as communications director for a Jerusalem-based NGO.
